Our Story

Oson was originally created for us.

We love the feeling of being barefoot but it's not always practical. It was difficult to find shoes with the right combination of effortless comfort, natural materials, and understated sophistication...so we made them ourselves.

Each collection is hand-crafted in Portugal, released in small batches, and because of the reclaimed process we sometimes only have enough of a specific colour to make a few pairs.

Our love of natural elements and timeless simplicity has driven everything we design.

Oson is for those that desire the same.

Where is Oson Made?

Our shoes are made in a small coastal shoe factory - outside Porto, Portugal - which was started by two childhood friends who share a love of premium and bespoke shoemaking.

From the factory, you can see the ocean and one of the region's best surf breaks.

What is Special About These Shoes?

Each collection is hand-crafted and released in small batches.

Because of the reclaimed process, we sometimes only have enough of a specific colour to make a few pairs of shoes or single bag.

We will be releasing new colours every couple weeks or so. Follow or subscribe below to get notified of new drops.

Shipping, Returns, Exchanges?

Shipping

We offer free worldwide standard shipping.

All orders are shipped from Ericeira, Portugal.

EU: Standard delivery in 2-3 business days.

Rest of World: 5-9 business days.

Deliveries are made during office hours from Monday to Friday, with the exception of holidays. The courier will attempt delivery at the address provided in your order. In the event of a failed delivery, you will be notified of a local pick up location.

Taxes & Duties for International Orders

Your country’s customs office may impose additional charges on your shipment: import fees, declaration fees, import duties (tariffs), and/or taxes.

Orders below a certain value may not be subject to duties, in some countries.

Returns

You can return any purchased online item within 14 days from the date of delivery.

1. Return Terms & Conditions:

  • Items must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way, and must not show any signs of wear. Soles of footwear must be in perfect condition and must not be marked in any way.
  • Items must be returned with all original labels and tags still attached, packaging and other accessories received with the order.
  • Returns sent at Oson's expense will be refused and sent back at sender’s charge.

2. Return Instructions:
To submit a return request, please contact us.

  • Return shipping costs are at Customer’s charge, Oson does not provide free returns and/or shipping labels at this time. It is possible to return the items with any carrier of your choice. The return shipping costs are excluded from refunds.
  • Returns must be shipped within 14 days from the order’s delivery date.

3. Options After Return:
All returns will be processed within 10 business days since the return is delivered to our warehouse.

  • Size exchange  - The same item can be exchanged for a different size. The size replacement is subject to availability which will be verified at the time of the return processing. If your original order colour/item is not available it is possible to exchange for a different one or change the colour, based on availability.
  • Refund on Payment Method As soon as the return is processed, customers will receive a refund for the total value of the returned items (shipping/return shipping costs and Customs fees are excluded as stated above). Refunds can be issued exclusively on the payment method used for the purchase as per EU Directive. The availability of the refunded amount depend on the bank, usually not longer than 7 business days. Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Please take into account any exchange rate between different currencies, any differences cannot be refunded.


Customers will be responsible for the return package and its content until it reaches our warehouse. Oson will not be responsible for damaged/lost packages shipped from customers' couriers.
